BOST was founded in Zhongshan, Guangzhou, named Zhongshan BOST Automation Co., Ltd. With its experience in the field of mechanical manufacturing, the company led the team to develop plate bending machines and tube bending machines, mainly serving the local metal processing industry. At that time, the product structure was simple and relied on manual operation, but with reliable quality and precise processing capabilities, it quickly won market recognition.

With the advent of the wave of industrial automation, BOST successfully developed the first numerical control (NC) bending machine in 1998 to achieve semi-automatic production.
